Mrs. Albert Brownell [Abbie Brunell] died Monday at eleven o'clock at her home
in Anthon. She was taken away by that dread disease, consumption. The funeral
was at three o'clock. The sermon was preached by Rev. R. Hild, a former pastor
of the M.E. Church and a special friend of the family. The remains were laid to
rest in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The husband, little daughter, father, brothers
and several sisters and a host of friends are left to mourn her loss.
