Born in Whitley County, Mrs. DeWitt had lived at Miller's Merry Manor since November 1981.
She is survived by four sons, Floyd O., Louisville, Ky., Edwin O., Marion, Edison E., Roanoke, and Paul, Gering, Neb.; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Elaine) McCray, Marion; 21 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Bailey-Schafer Memorial Chapel, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington, with burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at the funeral home.
