OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Howard E. Sypole, 69, formerly of Chicago, died Sunday evening at 9:30 o'clock in the Wabash County Hospital following five days' illness from complications.

Mr. Sypole, who has resided in Wabash for the last eight months, retired from the Wisconsin Steel Company, Chicago, May 1, 1943 after 37½ years service as an electrical construction foreman.

He was born in Pennsylvania March 2, 1878 to Bathan and Hortensia (Stansbury) Sypole. Forty-one yers ago he was united in marriage to Kathryn Freising in Wabash.

Surviving include the widow, one son, Howard T. Sypole, two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Carmody and Mrs. Robert Wright, all of Chicago, four sisters, Mrs. J. C. Cook, Chicago, Mrs. J.C. Brennan, LaPorte, Mrs. R.S. Freeman, Chicago, and Mrs. Anna Glass, Rolling Prairie, one brother, Charles Sypole, Wabash, and five grandchildren.

The decedent was a member of the Masonic Lodge and St. Matthew's Evangelical and Reformed Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afaternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. I.K. Dietsche officiating. Burial wil be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
