CPL. Albert Arendt, 39911568, was assigned to F Company, 179th Infantry, 45th Inf. Div., US Army. He died of wounds he received in action in France. He was interred originally at U.S. Military Cemetery, St. Juan, France. Plot E, Row 12, Grave 713. After the war, at request of his father he was reinterred at Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise, Idaho. CPL. Arendt was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.
