estimable character. He was an exemplary husband, a kind and
Tender parent, a devoted friend and a devout Christian. His probity
Was proverbial and in all his transactions with his fellow men he was
Governed by the strictest rules of justice and honor. Some years
Before his death he attached himself to the Methodist Church and
Was esteemed a worthy and consistent member by all who knew him
