Lost at sea 30. March 1865 on the US General Lyon, during repatriation from Salisbury Prison, North Carolina. Co "C", 1st Regiment, WVa Calvary. Memorial Plaque honoring his three other brothers at entrance to City Point National Cemetery, Hopewell, VA where brother William is buried.
