On September 5, 1965 at Carroll Hall Sanitarium, Regia R. Hanlein, beloved wife of the late Julius H. Hanlein and mother of Harry L. Hanlein and the late Constance Hanlein, sister of Lillian DeMarr and William H. Lamar. There are five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Takoma Funeral Home after 7 pm Tuesday. Services at Christ Episcopal Church, 470 G Street, S. E. on Thursday, September 8 at 2 p.m. Interment Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, Maryland
Regia's parents had originally planned to name her Regina but an error was made in the spelling on her birth certificate, resulting in the spelling, Regia. Her mother decided that she liked the name and she remained Regia. Others have tried to correct the spelling but her family knows she is REGIA.
