Joe Edison Craft, 82, died Friday, August 28, 1987, in Roswell, New Mexico. Joe was born on December 18, 1904, in Albany, Kentucky, to Mr. and Mrs. William Craft, both now deceased.

He was married June 20, 1926, in Dayton, NM, to Carmen (Jacobs), who preceded him in death in 1969.

A Roswell resident for three years, Craft was retired as chief dispatcher of oil and gas for Humble Oil Co. of Houston, TX.

He was a 55-year member of the Masonic Lodge and a past worthy patron in Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, John Craft, Jesse Craft and Paul Craft.

Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Hess of Roswell; one grandson, Blaine Hess of Roswell; one sister, Lorene Craft of Tyler, TX; one granddaughter, Thane Baczek of Salt Lake City, UT; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
