LaVerne M. Barber, 77, of Perryville died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Briar Cliff Nursing Home in Alabaster, Ala.
She was born March 24, 1924, at Daisy, Mo., daughter of Edgar and Ida Dickman Klaus.
She and Zeno Barber were married July 22, 1943. He died Oct. 13, 2000.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and Berean Bible Class in Perryville.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Barber of Birmingham, Ala., and Jeffrey Barber of Valparaiso, Ind.; a daughter, Connie Daniels of St. Charles, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30-9 a.m. Monday at Young & Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
