Obituary of Wayne A. Fountain Sr.
Wayne A. Fountain, Sr., went to see his heavenly Father on April 6, 2008 after a short battle with leukemia.
He was raised in St. Martin where he graduated from St. Martin High School in 1960. He married the love of his life, Gail DuBois at the age of 19. He also began his career at Coca-Cola where he retired with 35 years of service. He had a wonderful sense of humor with a "do all for anybody" attitude. He loved playing golf, fishing and spending time with his family and grand kids. He was well loved and will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Louise Fountain, three brothers, Carey, Jack Ray and Darel Fountain.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Gail Fountain of St. Martin, son, Wayne Anthony Fountain, Jr. (Patty) of Lizana; two daughters, Michelle Broadus (Philip) of Biloxi and Tara Fountain (Michael) of St. Martin; brother, James Morgan Fountain of D'Iberville, sister, Alice Dale Fitzpatrick of St. Martin and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 9, 2008, 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Service will be Thursday, April 10, 2008, 11:00 a.m. Both will take place at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Interment will be at the Bosarge Cemetery.
