Richard LeRoy Bunning, 77, of Moweaqua died 3:08 a.m. Saturday (04 Jul 1998) in his home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church, Moweaqua. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua & 1 hour before services in the church, Tuesday. Burial will be in Long Grove Cemetary, rural Macon.
Mr. Bunning was born 28 Mar, 1921, in Moweaqua, the son of William & Anna Zimmerman Bunning. He was a retired farmer, retired from Mueller Co. in Decatur & member of First Christian Church. He also was a member of NFO, formerly belonged to Shelby Co. Farm Bureau & was an avid coin collector. He married Hazel Thomas 17 Mar 1941, in St. Charles, MO.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mary Ann Dry of Decatur & Margaret Milligan & husband Charles of Olympia, WA; brother, Robert & wife Delsie of Moweaqua; sister, Lorraine Murphy & husband Clyde of Nokomis; 4 granchildren, Larry Bunning of Decatur; Linda Reynolds of Macogdoches, TX; Donna Bartlett of Puyallup, WA; Wendy Milan of Wilmer, TX; 8 great-grandchildren, Zachary Bunning of Decatur; Kayla & Rachael Reynolds of Macogdoches; Marcus & Jacob Bartlett of Puyallup; Courtney, Riha & Daisha Milan, all of Wilmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clyde Richard; daughter, Betty Ann; brother, Harold & sister, Delores.
