Hazel Lucille Bunning, 78, of Moweaqua died 10:49 a.m. Monday (09Nov1998) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
Services will by 1:30 p.m. Thursday in First Christian Church, Moweaqua, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua, & 1 hour before services Thursday in the church. Burial will be in Long Grove Cemetary, rural Macon.
Mrs. Bunning was born in Taylorville on 19Aug1920, the daughter of Willis & Abbey Pruitt Thomas. She was a member of Shelby Co. Farm Bureau & formerly worked as a nurses aide. Hazel was a very avid Bingo player. She married Richard L. Bunning on 17Mar1941, in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on 04Jul1998.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary Ann Dry of Decatur; Margaret Milligan & husband Charles of Olympia, WA; grandchildren, Larry Bunning of Decatur; Linda Reynolds of Nacogdoches, TX; Donna Bartlett of Puyallup, WA; Wendy Milan of Wilmer, TX; great-grandchildren, Zachary Bunning of Decatur; Kayla & Rachael Reynolds of Nacogdoches; Marcus & Jacob Bartlett, both of Puyallup; Courtney, Riha & Daisha Milan, all of Wilmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Clyde Richard; daughter, Betty Ann; 3 brothers, 3 sisters.
