Jerry 'Junior' Eldon Stevens, Jr.
HOMINY - Funeral for Junior Stevens, 17, Hominy, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Hominy High School Old Gym with Chris Gabriel, pastor, Assembly of God Church, Prue; and Jim Crain, pastor, Calvary Apostolic Church, Skiatook, officiating.

Prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the old gym.

He died Saturday, July 18, 2009.

Burial will be in A.J. Powell Cemetery under direction of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy.

He was born Aug. 7, 1991, at Lawton, to Tina and Jerry Eldon Stevens, Sr. He attended Hominy Public Schools and would have been a senior this year. He was a member of the Comanche Tribe, the Pentecostal Church of Lawton and Chris Gabriel's Paintball Ministry at the Prue Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his parents, of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Miranda Stevens, Hominy; three nieces: Rylee, Kaylynn and Shelbi Stevens; a nephew, Royal Poafabitty, Lawton; paternal grandparents, Joan and Philip Stevens, Hominy; maternal grandparents, Imogene and John Moss, Corvallis, Ore.; aunts and an uncle: Debra Carroll, Kim and Scott Ahdosy and Kathy Denney, all of Cache; uncles and their wives: John and Crystal Carroll, Joseph and Marcee Carroll, and Lance Denio, all of Cache; Anthony Denio, Lake View, Ore.; Ronnie Stevens, Hominy; Dena and Nora Asenap, Cache; Mike Benson, Lawton; and Donna and Terry Knowles; cousins: Colby, Justice and Katy, all of Hominy; Shaun, Shane, Clint, Soren, Kyle, Blaine, Chase, Sasha, Chasity, Chance, Joey, Brandon, Graydon, Nicole, Ann, Kristen, Matthew, Jared, Jeremiah, Marcus and Joshua, all of Cache; Carrie and Ryan, both of Lawton; and Ariel, of Michigan; a special brother, Clayton Hudson; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, John and Nora Tahah; great-grandparents, Ruby and Eldon Morrison; and paternal grandfather, Joseph Thomas Carroll II.
