CLIFTON ELDON BUTLER - October 8,1966 at his residence, Kingston Springs, Tenn. Survived by wife, Mrs Verna Vaugnt Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Hilleary of Nashville,Mrs. Lillie Mai Hawkins, Augtusta, Ga.;two sons C.E. Butler,Jr., Detroit, Mich., Norman B. Butler, Nashville; four sisters, Mrs Lillie Paschal, of Nashville, Mrs. Novella Caruthers, Mrs.Carlene Belle,Salilsburg, Mrs. Mildred Pack, all of Kingston Springs; three brothers, Clyde, James and George Butler, all of Kingston Springs; thirteen grandchildren;two great-grandchildren. Remains are at the Chapel of Pettus-Owen & Woods, 4506 Charlotte Ave., where services will be conducted Monday, October 10, 1966 at 1 p.m. conducted by Rev. Jesse Shannon. The fellowing will please serve as pallbears: active Percy Marsh, Neal Pellam, Robert McCrary Jr., Oakley, Dete Lee, Arthur Dodson, and David Finch, Interment Scott Cemetery.
