Mrs. Minnie Ruth Charles, wife of Maurice Charles, of Auburn, died Saturday January 3, 1942 at St. John's hospital. She was 38 years old.

She was born April 1, 1903 in Auburn IL the daughter of James William Duff and Sylvia Beam Duff. She married Maurice Charles Oct 14, 1922 in Auburn.

She is survived by her husband Maurice; three sons, John of San Diego CA, Maurice Jr and James Robert both of Auburn; seven daughters. Elizabeth, Dorothy, Ruth, Helen, Mary, June and Frances, all of Auburn; sister Helen Ibberson of Auburn; grandmother, Mrs. Mary Beam of Auburn, and several aunts and uncles. Remains were taken to Vancil Funeral Home. Burial in Auburn Cemetery.
