Mr. Lewis was a native of Eatonton but made his home in Woodbridge, Virginia where he worked his way up through the automobile dealership business, from mechanic to general manager. He was the son of the late Wayne Eddison and Helen Glaze Lewis. He was a member of White Oak Primitive Baptist Church and was a devoted father who enjoyed collecting movies and cooking.
Survivors include his wife Betty Herrin Lewis his daughter,
Angel Nicholson both of Woodbridge, Virginia, two sons, Mark Lewis of Stafford, Virginia, and Gregory Todd Lewis of Mobile, AL. a sister, Mary Helen Melton of Dadeville, AL, two brothers, Harry Lewis of Cumming, Norton Lewis of Chicago, IL and 7 grandchildren.
