Charles Ford DeJournett, 80, of Hayti, died Jan. 17, 1994 at Stuttgart Regional Medical Center in Stuttgart, Ark. Born March 1, 1913 in Stoddard County, he was the son of Charles and Etta Marsh DeJournett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Godsey DeJournett.
He is survived by four daughters, Nelda Lee Bristow of Phoenix, Joyce Ann DeJournett of Hazen, Ark., Charlotte Louise Forrest of Stuttgart and Barbara Harden of Hayti; A sister, Bessie Norman of Mt. Morris, Mich.; Thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at Maple Cemetery, the Rev. Jessie Morris officiating, Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti in charge.
