He attended schools in Necessity, Breckenridge and Brittain's Training School in Cisco. He was a school teacher. He taught school near Abilene, Morton, Tahoka and Eastland County. He was a rancher and was in the real estate business. Survived by one sister-in-law, Dora Fambrough; nieces, nephews.
