Wernli Dies In Austin

Henry Wernli, 48, former resident of Gonzales living in Austin, died at an Austin hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Ladt rites were held from the Wilke-Clay Funerl Home in that city at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Walter Koenig in charge.
The body was brought to Gonzales where graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. from the City cemetery with Seydler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr.Wernli was the husband of the former Elsie Peterek of Gonzales, and at one time lived here when he was manager of the A & P Grocery Store.
Survivors include his wife and two children, Beverly Jean and Larry Wernli of Austin; his mother, Mrs. Lena Wernli, two brothers, Alfred and Fritz Wernli, all of Seguin?

Son of:
Jacob WERNLI
and
Mrs. Lina WERNLI,
both of Switzerland.

Cause of Death was cancer of the larynx.
