Grace Evelyna Barker was born to Andrew M. Barker and Jane Barker. She had 7 siblings: 1 non-surviving infant girl (?), Gladys, Paul, Esther, Jesse, Ruth and Rachel.

She married Isaac Goforth on December 7th, 1919 and together they had 7 children: 2 non-surviving infant sons; Thomas Ray, born January 19th, 1924; Roy Glenn, born December 13th, 1925; Margaret Jane, born March 3rd, 1928; Charles Wayne, born October 22nd, 1931; Ceola Jean, born August 28th, 1933.

She spent her adult years as a homemaker and a cook at the Country Home Cafe at the Tamaroa Y.
