Clora (Chloe) Ethel Taylor 84, died at 2:40 AM Saturday at the Hospitality House of Bedford.
The daughter of Melcard Tillman and Lucindy Ellen (Nellie) Elkins Baker, she was born October 8,1903 in Martin county. She married Harvey Wesley Taylor on September 18, 1920 in Martin County. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1968. She was a housewife and a member of the Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Beulah Faye Newland, Lela Mae Price of Bedford and Nova Jewell Thompson of Springville; six grandchildren, Darrell and Janice Price, Ronald, Marilyn, and Carolyn Thompson, and Larry Newland; 11 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:00 pm Monday at the Elmwood Chapel of the Day and Carter Mortuary with Rev. Mark Murphy and Bro. Jim Pavey officiating. Buriel will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until 9:00 today and Monday until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Darrell and Andy Price, Ron Thompson, Bobby Martin,Larry Newland and Harold Newell.
