Mr. Hargrove, who was born in Yucaipa, lived in Hemet and Homeland a total of eight years. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years before he retired as a chief warrant officer. Later he owned Diamond Television in Ontario.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; a daughter, Jackie Sue Logan of Hemet; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob of Arizona and Jim of Hemet; and a sister, Joyce of Rancho Cucamonga.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
