Thayne E. Quigley Age 78 of Marton, NJ, formerly of Carney's Point, NJ, died Thur. at the Wiley Manor, Marlton, NJ.
Born in Grand Rapids, Mich., he was a resident of Carney's Point, NJ for 44 years. Served as a 1st Lt. in the Army Air Force during WWII. Mr. Quigley was graduated from Michigan State Univ. in 1947. A Sr. Supervisor with the DuPont Co., Chambers Works, retiring in 1982 after 30 years service.
A former member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, penns Grove, where he was active in Many church positions including treasurer for 6 years. He was a current member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Cherry Hill, NJ.
Mr. Quigley is survived by a Son, Rev. Bruce Quigley of Toms River NJ, a daughter Elayne Guy of Glassboro, NJ. Also survived by 4 grandsons.
Services will be held, Mon., Dec. 13, 1999 at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 327 Marlton Pike (Route 70), Cherry Hill, NJ, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment, Lawnside Cemetery Pilesgrove, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to, St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Quigley & Howe Scholarship Fund, 17 Franklin St., Penns Grove, NJ 08069. Arrangements by the Ashcraft Funeral Home, Penns Grove, NJ.
