COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 05/12/1986 - FLOYDS KNOBS Sonia L. Polen Arnold, 58, Route 3, Floyd Knobs, died Saturday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was a native of New Albany, Indiana, vice president and secretary-treasurer of Falls Cities Boiler & Machine Inc. in New Albany and a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Arnold Jr.; two sons, Gary W. Arnold of New Albany and Mark A. Arnold; a daughter, Cyndy L. Vertrees of new Albany; her mother, Garnett M. Sieveking; a brother, Doug Polen of Clarksville; a sister, Doris Mayberry of Clarksville; a foster brother, Lee A. Prather of New Albany; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Seabrook Funeral Home in New Albany, with burial in Tunnel Hill Cemetery in Edwardsville. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Monday.
