MENAHGA - Helen Armida Ramos Aho, age 75 years, of Menahga, Minn., formerly of Brainerd, Minn., passed away on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006.
Helen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Armas. She is survived by seven children; Samra of Minnetonka, Minn., Elias (Diane) of Wolf Lake, Minn., Maria Samuelson of Buffalo, Minn., Alfred (Anele) of Waterford, Mich., Mark (Amy) of Cokato, Minn., Jon (Brenda) of Dayton, Minn., and Helen (O'Neil) of Bethel, Conn.; 34 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; multiple nieces and nephews; and many brothers and sisters in faith.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at the Laestadian Lutheran Church, 1501 S. Eighth St., Brainerd. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and at the church the hour before services on Wednesday.
