Athens - A funeral for Herman Broadway, 56, of 708 N.
Madison St., will be at 3 p.m. today in the Madison
Street Baptist Church; the Rev, Elzzie Jones officiating,
Fry Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Gatlin
Cemetery.
Mr. Broadway died Friday night at an Athens hospital.
Survivor's include his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Broadway,
two sons, Herman Wayne Broadway and Harold Dean Broadway,
both of Athens; a daughter, Mrs. H.B. McClendon of Rt. 10,
Athens, mother, Mrs. Dela Broadway of Ardmore; two brothers,
Howard Broadway of Martin, Tenn., and A.W. Broadway of
Ardmore; seven grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter.
