Daughter of Emil Nicholas Stoltenberg and Sophia Marie Amelia Hahn.

Wife to Arthur Ferdinand Ernst Michel, son of Franz Johannes Michel ans Josephine Ida Oestmann.

OBITUARY:
Luveda Eda Stoltenberg, daughter of Emil and Sophia Hahn Stoltenberg, was born Aug. 7, 1909 east of Graf, NE.

One of two children, she was baptized Sept. 5, 1909 at the new Zion Lutheran Church and was confirmed there on May 3, 1925.

She received her education at the Graf Rural School.

Dec. 6, 1933, Luveda married Arthur Michel at the home farm east of Graf. Art and Luveda farmed in Johnson and Nemaha Counties until 1953, when they moved to Auburn, Ne. During her active life, Luveda was a homemaker, a waitress and cook at Harold Nelson's Cafe and Auburn Hotel. She was a housekeeper at the Good Samaritan Center in Auburn before retiring Her husband, Art died Nov. 26, 1990.

She was a lifelong, active member of Zion Lutheran, north of Johnson, Ne.

In the fall of 1993, she went to live during the winter months with her daughter, Elta Mae Wilkinson and her husband, John in Yadkinville, N.C. It was at their home that she died March 22, 1994, having reached the age of 84 years, seven months, and 15 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Those left to mourn her passing are three children, Mervin of Houston, TX. Elta Mae Wilkinson of Yadkinville, N.C. and Marilyn Foster of Hancock, MN.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Vera Michel of Colorado Springs, CO. other relatives and friends.
Services were held at Zion Lutheran Church in Johnon March 28, conducted by Rev. John E. Keller.

Pallbearers were Arvin Michel, Lonnie Bohling, Dale Michel, Jack Michel, Bruce Sohnholz, Dana Pittman and Richard Sylvester.

Mary Johnson was organist and Debbie Sylvester, vocalist.

Interment was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Johnson, Ne.
