Chester A. (Chet) Bomar, died March 28, 1989 in Kettering, Ohio at Kettering Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 27, 1915 to Joseph W. and Mary Puckett Bomar, at Mansfield, Tenn. In 1922, the family moved from Paris, Tenn. to Steele, where he attended local schools.

After serving in World War II, European Theatre of War, he graduated from Ohio State University at Columbus, Ohio. He retired from Wright-Patterson Air Base in the early 1970s.

He is survived by his wife, Rita, of Kettering and one sister, Lillian Long of Carlsbad, New Mexico.
