Hello, This was my grandmothers younger brother, born in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory. Very large family buried from MO to CA. Was interested in a little more history of this cemetery. My grandmother was buried at Rock Prairie, Boliver. Best, Paul.
Oh my!
Edward was 35 when he died. His Family was in Cherokee Nation, Indian Terr until they were classified as intruders in 1902 and told to leave before OKLAHOMA statehood. I have little family history on him. he died before his mother and father, who are buried in Eastlawn. His grandmother owned half of Springfield at the turn of the last century. His father had 21 children, last one at 60. Not a warm, loving or committed family is what I'm finding. Can I send you his photo from 1904 to post, I will need to crop it from a group? Thanks, this is not what I expected to find... Paul
