Obituary of Harriet printed in the Daily Herald on April 30, 1908:

"Harriet Augustine, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Stanovich, aged four years and nine months, died at the home on West Howard avenue yesterday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock. The little child has been ill for sometime and her death caused sorrow in the home of its parents where there is also ill their little son. The funeral was this afternoon at 3:00 o'clock from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stanovich, 1325 East Beach. Services were conducted in the Church of the Nativity and interment was in the Biloxi cementery".

A card of thanks was printed in the Daily Herald on May 4, 1904:

"We take this means of thanking all those who were so kind during the illness and death of our darling little daughter, especially do we wish thank Rev. Joseph Milot and Dr. George Wallace - Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Stanovich".

Harriet died from the measles. Her brother, Jacob died five days later on May 4 from pneumonia secondary to the measles.
