Mrs. Leola Belle King, 76, 1939 Capital St. NE, died Tuesday at a local nursing home. Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at W. T. Rigdon Funeral home with interment at Belcrest cemetery. Mrs. King had been a resident of Salem for 11 years after moving here from South Dakota. Survivors are the widower, Alvin A. King, Salem; daughters Mrs. Helen Peavy, Mrs. Doris Thye and Mrs. Pearl Gugel, all Salem, and Mrs. Hazel Cochren, Portland; son, Leland Scott King, Montabello, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Edith Shevlin, South Dakota.
