Mrs. Hazel Herlong Till, 89, of 272 Gramling Road, Cameron, died Sunday, July 11,
2004, at her residence.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Monday, July 12, at Four Holes Baptist Church with the
Rev. David Walker and the Rev. Paul Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at Four Holes
Baptist Church Cemetery.
The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
Pallbearers include Joseph Gehry, Jason Gehry, Bruce O'Cain, Chris O'Cain, Nair Till
and Audrey Hampton.
Mrs. Till was born May 15, 1915, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late James M.
Herlong and Ida Hair Herlong. She was a member of Four Holes Baptist Church and the
Adult Ladies I Sunday School Class and a member of the Lightfoot Missionary Society.
Survivors include two sons; Weldon McNair Till Sr. ,of Darien, Ga. and Wayne Franklin
Till, of Orangeburg; two sisters; Willie Mae Lucas, of Lexington and Dorothy E. Thomas,
of Milton, Fla.; eight grandchildren, a number of great-and great-great-grandchildren and
a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence, 272 Gramling Road, Cameron, or Thompson Funeral
Home in Orangeburg.
Memorials can be made to Four Holes Baptist Church, 1622 Four Holes Road,
Orangeburg SC 29115, Chaplains Crisis Fund of TRMC, 3000 St. Matthews Road,
