Sharron lee Lawson (nee Flynn), 53, of Amherst Township died Sunday at New Life Hospice Residential Center after a long illness.
Born in Amherst, she was a lifelong resident of Amherst Township.
She was employed at M. A. Harrison Manufacturing as an inspector for more than 23 years.
Mrs. Lawson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in South Amherst.
She loved crossword puzzles and cross-stitching.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Carl Henry Lawson; sons Carlton Henry and James E., both of Amherst, and Johnny R. of South Amherst; four grandchildren; her father, Horace Flynn of Amherst; brothers Allen Henes and Arnold Flynn, both of Vermilion; and sisters Sandra Fredrick of Lorain and Elizabeth Lawson of Robins, Va.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie (nee Henes) Flynn; maternal grandparents, Herbert and Elsie Henes; and paternal grandparents, Ira and Laurie Flynn.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The Rev. Farrell Keith, pastor of Old Fashion Grace Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery South Amherst.
