Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11th at Toledo Bend Baptist Church and will resume on Sunday from 9:00 until the time of service.
Mrs. Prewitt was born on May 29, 1923, in Leesville, LA and passed away in Anacoco, LA at the age of 95. For over twenty years, she worked in the Broyles Clinic in Leesville and was the oldest charter member of Toledo Bend Bible Baptist Church. Mrs. Prewitt was a member of the Anacoco Senior Citizen’s Center. They would meet regularly and quilt together. Quilting was one the activities that she enjoyed along with gardening and working in her yard.
Mrs. Prewitt was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Prewitt; parents, John Edgar Dixon and Ophelia Ann Dixon; sisters, Opal Morrison and Jewel McNeely; and brothers, Wade, Shorty, Reber, and Frank Dixon.

Daughter: Barbara Ann Smith and husband Marvin of Evans, LA
Grandchildren: Brad Prewitt and wife Dana, Carroll Smith and wife Penny, and Alfred Smith and wife Leah
Great grandchildren: Alyssa Smith, Justin Smith, Miles Smith, Taylor Israel, Alexis Prewitt, and Tyler Megason
Great great grandson: Tatum Israel
and a host of extended family and friends.
