Born on August 21, 1900, Wesley Eugene was the third of nine children born to Wesley and Effie Boyts. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri.

Husband of Beatrice Stoppel Boyts (1905-1989), Wesley was a Master Barber and owned his own barber shop in Lakewood, CA.

Wes and Beatrice were married Aug. 24, 1924. They had one child, Wesley Euguene Boyts, Jr.

Sadly, Wes passed away from a heart attack in 1986. He is buried in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA.
