obit from Hammond Times follows. Mrs. Mary Koutny, 80, of 501 East Clark St. Crown Point, former resident of Hammond, died Monday in her home.
Survivors are one daughter Mrs. Charles Kerr of Crown Point; two sons, Carl of San Mateo, Calif., and Joseph of Fox Lake, Ill; two sisters Mrs Anna Sodomka and Miss Rose Krejci both of Gary; two brothers Frank Krejci of Gary and Emil Krejci of Lansing; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Kounty is a retired employee of Cudahy Packing Co of East Chicago. She lived in Hammond 45 years and was a member of All Saints Church.
