After an illness of over two years, Mrs. Mary Messersmith Bauserman, widow of the late J. E. Bauserman, died at her home on Maple avenue, Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock.
Mrs. Bauserman suffered a stroke of paralysis about two years ago and since that time had been an invalid. While her family and friends deeply mourn her loss, her death was not unexpected. She leaves the following children: Mrs. Kemp White, of Alexnadria; Mrs. Silva Clem, of Staunton; C. F. Bauserman, of Winston-Salem, and L. L. Bauserman, of Clifton Forge. There are also several sisters and a brother.
The funeral service was held yesterday morning at 11 o'clock in the Main Street Methodist Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Bobbitt. Interment was made in Riverview.
The honorary pallbearers were: C. M. Lambert, C. J. Wright, J. H. Furr, E. D. Weaver, Charlie Via and Prof. A. C. Kumler. Active: W. W. White, G. G. Garber, C. K. Yancey, G. S. Brown, F. C. Menefee and Boyd Stombock.
