Bolen, a native and resident of Jackson, was a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Jackson.
He was also a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Allen Bolen; and one sister, Warrene B. Barbaree, both of Jackson.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson. Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 302 E. Church St., Jackson, AL 36545; or a favorite charity.
