IUKA - Mary Lula Phifer, 78, died Friday at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Ala. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at North Crossroads Community Church with burial in the church cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home has charge. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Phifer leaves a daughter, Bonita Alder of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sons, Jimmy Phifer of Chattanooga and Wayne Phifer of Iuka; a sister, Dolly Burke, and two brothers, Talmadge Arnold and Estes 'Strawberry' Arnold, all of Iuka, 10 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
