The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Paul Kuklok, age 92 of Opole, will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 21 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Paul died Tuesday at Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell while his family was there. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Friday and again after 9:00 AM Saturday at the church in Opole. Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM Friday evening at the church in Opole. Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford.
Paul was born January 14, 1917 in Holdingford to Andrew and Anna (Schneider) Kuklok. He was a lifetime resident of the Opole area with the exception of the years during WWII when he was in California. Paul married Delores Ohotto on June 19, 1940 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus. The couple farmed in the Opole area for over 45 years. Delores died on September 21, 2003. Paul has lived in Country Manor since August of 2008. Paul is a member of Our Lady of Carmel Catholic Church in Opole and he was very active in the church. He had also been a school board member with the District 88 Schools.
Paul is survived by his son and daughters, Helaine Waletski, Royalton; Janice (Jim) Paggen, Holdingford; LuAnn (Peter) Gregoire, Fargo; Johnita (Bob) Dombrovski, Holdingford and Mike Kuklok of St. Cloud. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and twin great-great-grand-daughters.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Delores, his brothers and sisters, Kathrine Warzecha, Herman Kuklok, Victoria Kuklok, Roman Kuklok, Regina Jarnot, Tony Kuklok, Rosie Warzecha, Barbara Litchy and John Kuklok. He was also preceded by his granddaughter Ann Parsons, and Son-in-law John Waletski.
