Memorial services for Artie J. Dennis, 89, of Lubbock will be at noon Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church in Lubbock with the Rev. C.H. Murphy officiating.
Burial was in Whiteflat Cemetery near Matador under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home of Matador.
He died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center-Lakeside in Lubbock.
He was born Oct. 26, 1911, in Saint Jo and grew up in the Spade community. He married Minnie Kathleen Stephens on June 21, 1950, in Clovis, N.M. He moved to Lubbock in 1952 from Hale Center.
He was a sales manager for an International truck dealership in Lubbock from 1952 until his retirement in 1973. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Jewell Hurt of Lawton, Okla.
