Bonnie G. King, 93, of Del Rio, Texas passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 at a local hospital. He was born May 4, 1908 in Lamesa, Texas.
Survivors are his wife, Lois Nell King of Del Rio; nephews, Gerry George and Elton George, both of San Antonio; Dencel Smith and David Smith, both of Lubbock; and Mrs. Oleta Smith of Lubbock.
Visitation will be today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Freeman of the First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery.
Val Verde Masonic Lodge #646 A.F. and A.M. will conduct Masonic graveside services and serve as pallbearers.
Mr. King was a Mason for more than 65 years. He was in the farming business in Dawson County for many years and enjoyed golfing until declining health kept him from playing.
