OBITUARY: Boonville, Indiana Enquirer - February 11, 1938:

John Thomas Ringham, son of Thomas and Louisa Ringham, was born April 15, 1861, and died January 25, 1938; age 76 years, 9 months and 10 days.

He was married to Nancy E. Hunsaker Jan. 8, 1885, who preceded him in death November 4, 1926.

An infant son, Bert, also preceded him in death.

Although his health had been failing rapidly for the past two years, he bore his pain in great silence, and it was not until the last two weeks that his family realized the seriousness of his condition. The end came quietly and peacefully as he anxiously joined his loved companion and his Master. He was converted a number of years ago. Although he was never affiliated with any church, he remained loyal to his faith.

The following children survive him: Mrs. Jodie Hopper of Lynnville, Mrs. Charles Oxby of Spurgeon and Thomas of Lynnville.

Since the death of his wife, Mr. Ringham had made his home with his son, and in this home his passing will be keenly felt.

Mr. Ringham was the third child in a family of twelve children, six of whom survive; Mary Ferris, William, Richard, Jay, James and Frank. Edward, Lewis, Elmer, Sabiana and Isabella having preceded him in death.

He leaves also 13 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
