WENATCHEE _ Kathleen F. Petersen, 82, a longtime Wenatchee resident, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1993, in Parkside Manor Nursing Home.

She was born July 27, 1911, to George and Flossie Idyln (Palmer) Hoggarth at Fruitvale, B.C. At a young age, she moved to Vancouver, B.C., where she received her education. She moved to Wenatchee in the late 1920s, and had lived here since that time.

She married Ralph C. Petersen in February of 1933, at Wenatchee where they made their first home. Mrs. Petersen worked as a cook for the Wenatchee School District for many years, retiring in the mid-1970s.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Retired Public School Employees, the Orthopedic Guild and the Astral Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Allen and Leona Mares, both of Wenatchee and Cheryl Bauer of Lynnwood; a stepbrother, John Law of Spokane; a sister, Renee Crowl of Seattle; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966, and an infant son.
