Munsey), Laura Campbell Daugherty (who married Harvey Jefferson Sloan), Julia Stephens [Stevens] Daugherty (who married Cornelius Ambrose Weaver), Robert Grier Daugherty (who died young), Virginia Moad Daugherty (who married Levi Shepherd and then Andrew D. Bell), and Belle Key Daugherty (who married Marshall M. Bohon).
Alexander, at least for a time, was a lawyer. In that capacity, he served as justice of the Inferior Court in Jackson, Georgia from February 1833 until October 1837.
