He was born May 22, 1933, in Trimble County, Ky., the son of Ollie and Bessie Coffin Roseberry. He was raised in Trimble County and was a 1952 graduate of Trimble County High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a union electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 369 and the National IBEW from 1962 to 1983. He began his electrical career as a journeyman, then became an electrical superintendent for N.G. Gilbert Corp. in Muncie. He worked as a high-voltage electrician at Jefferson Proving Ground from 1983 until he retired in 1995. After retiring, he continued as an electrician for several years. He was a member of the Madison Elks Lodge 524 for 30 years and Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion for 31 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and feeding squirrels. He was a former member of North Madison Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. O'Neal Roseberry, whom he married Aug. 19, 1957; two daughters, Traci Ferguson of Madison and Kim Gosman of Pendleton, Ky.; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Bonnie Andrew, Alene Pendleton and Naomi Kidwell.
The funeral was at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial was in Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Ky. Full military honors were conducted graveside by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion.
