He was of the Methodist faith. He served in the CC camp with six months being in Pikeville and seven in Darrington,
Washington. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II from April 1943 to February 13,1946,spending eighteen months overseas in south America,Panama,Puerto,Rico,and then Fort Shelby, Mississippi,& then St.Clair, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lee Seals;One sister,Mildred Seals; two brothers,George and J.C. Seals.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Alene McCarver Seals;one daughter, Solima Seals Grissom, McMinnville; two sons Clayton O.Seals,Manchester,& Edwin Michael Seals,Dunlap;eight grandchildren; two Brothers Leonard and Hubert Seals, both of Dunlap;several nieces and nephews.
