Mrs. Frances Flippo, 36, died suddenly Tuesday, December 2 at Memorial Hospital in Osceola, Ark. after becoming ill while on a trip to Memphis.
She was born in Mississippi County, Ark., January 15, 1933, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Herron and was reared in Caruthersville, where she was a member of First Christian Church. On June 25, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., she was married to William Patrick Flippo.
Services were held Thursday afternoon at the Christian Church with the Rev. Ron Moser officiating. Burial was in Maple Cemetery with H.S. Smith Funeral Home service.
She leaves her husband William P. Flippo, a son Roy Franklin Flippo, a daughter, Patsy Ruth Hubbard and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herron, all of Caruthersville and her grandmother, Mrs. Fannie Herron of Cedar Grove, Tenn.
