Margie Moore
CRANE

Margie Moore, 66, of Crane went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 21, 2004. She was born in Crane on August 30, 1937, to B.E. and Emma Rust. She was raised in the Sandhills and graduated from Crane High School.
Margie spent most of her life in Crane. She was the secretary for the Crane County Extension office for 15 years. She loved working with the children and helping to shape their lives.

The past ten years, she had lived in Odessa and worked for Jones Brothers Dirt and Paving. At Jones Brothers, she extended her family and loved many of the people working there as her own. She always held the people at Jones Brothers very dear to her heart.

Margie was blessed with two children, Major Joe Wesley Moore of Omaha, Neb., and Lora Gay Seabourn of Crane. They were the joy of her life. She was also blessed with a wonderful son-in-law, Todd Seabourn, and daughter-in-law, Tracy Moore.

The lights of her life were her eight grandchildren. She always loved to talk about Jammama's babies. Her grandchildren are Hunter, Lainey and Jolee Seabourn of Crane; Lindy, Travis, Troy, Katie and Thomas Moore all of Omaha.

She is also survived by one brother, Dee Rust and his wife, Gayle, of Ocala, Fla.; and three sisters, Norma Stricklin of Midland, Marcia Hammond of El Dorado Hills, Calif., and Martha and Dub Burleson of Laga Vista, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004, in the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Hester officiating. Burial will be in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
