The son of Euphrastus Carrier and Harriet R. Buell.
He came to Jefferson county,PA. with his parents in the fall of 1829.

He was twice married,1st to Miss Almira McCann on 12 September 1850 in Jefferson county,PA.
Albert and Almira were the parents of 12 children,namely:
~ Alma F. Carrier ,wife of George M. McAninch;
~ Harriet ,wife of N.J. Hall;
~ Susan Marilla Carrier;
~ Malinda J.,wife of U.H. Eshelman;
~ Noah L. Carrier,who passed away on 18 May 1861;
~ Lucinda H. Carrier,who passed away in 1861;
~ Antinett Carrier,who passed away in 1864;
~ Pett R.,who married C.M. Miller;
~ Agnes A. Carrier,the twin sister of Alice;
~ Alice/Allace A.,who was the wife of George M. Burns;
~ Mary B. Carrier;
~ Albert A. Carrier ,who passed away on 2 November 1874.

Almira nee McCann Carrier passed away on 9 October 1879.

Albert was married 2nd to Miss Sydney Tong of Cecil County,Maryland on 11 March 1880.
They were the parents of 3 children:
~ An Infant who passed away on 8 November 1880;
~ George C. Carrier,who passed away in early 1888 before his Father;
~ Kate L. Carrier.
